Journey to the Top

Journey to the Top

January 18, 2017

This past summer I summited Mount Rainier. I set a goal and I spent months preparing.

It was an amazing experience and I'm stoked to be able to share our journey to the top of Mount Rainier with you. This is a four part series of my Journey to the Top!

Gear prep day! Prepping for my trip to Seattle to climb Mount Rainier. This is everything you need to climb a mountain.

Has anyone been to a float spa? My journey to Seattle was a little weird. lol

NO COFFEE? Piss poor planning on my behalf, but that will never happen again! Coffee Republic handles all my caffeine requirements these days!

This is the 4th and final installment of my Journey to the Top! From Camp Muir to Summit. My first time attempt at Mount Rainier.

Special Thanks To: Mountain Gurus, Mount Rainier National Park, Gerber Gear, Grey Ghost, and Beyond Clothing for their support in making this happen.

Lived in a hospital for a month+, emergency surgery to remove large intestine which doc said would have disintegrated & killed me if they waited a few more hours. Lived for 6 months with an ostomy (intestine sticking out my abdomen into a bag)
