A HVIII-ful Day at the Range
Made it Baton Rouge, Louisiana for a trip to see my friend Matt Vincent. We spent sometime going over the fundamentals of firearms and concealed carry. Matt recently got his permit and wanted to train for the concealed carry lifestyle. Basic pistol was the name of the game. We took in the sights, ate some keto snacks, spent sometime in the pool and all-in-all had an awesome time with friends.

Three months later, I suddenly went from 170lbs to 120 in 3 weeks. Turned out to be Crohn’s Disease, an auto-immune condition that attacks the G/I system. Lived in a hospital for a month+, emergency surgery to remove large intestine which doc said would have disintegrated & killed me if they waited a few more hours. Lived for 6 months with an ostomy (intestine sticking out my abdomen into a bag)
