What’s up, I’m Coach Dave. I’m a world-class strength coach with over three decades worth of real-world strength and conditioning experience.
After serving 14 years in the U.S. Navy in various leadership roles, including as a career rescue swimmer and a member of specialized boarding teams, I transitioned into strength and conditioning with a passion for helping others achieve peak performance.
I went on to earn my M.S. in Human Performance and multiple certifications from top organizations, including the NSCA, Precision Nutrition Level 1 & 2, and U.S. Weightlifting, to ensure I have the knowledge and tools to help you succeed. As a lifelong learner, I am working towards earning my PhD in Exercise and Sports Science at Liberty University.
I’m not just a coach—I’m also an athlete who practices what I teach. From playing college football to competing in powerlifting, weightlifting, and Highland Games, I’ve always pushed my physical limits. After my career in the Navy, I’ve taken on endurance sports with a hybrid approach, completing multiple 70.3 Ironman races, a 120-mile trail race in Colorado, and many other moderate-distance races while maintaining strength training as a base principle. My experience across various athletic disciplines allows me to create well-rounded, personalized programs that help you perform at your best—no matter your sport.
I’ve been married to my beautiful bride, Karina, for over 15 years, and we have two incredible children. My youth coaching journey started at home. After my son turned five, I began coaching his and my daughter’s youth sports teams. This was when I first saw the impact strength and conditioning could have on young athletes. I’ve since coached thousands of kids—both on the field and in the weight room—and I’m proud to help the next generation of athletes develop strength, confidence, and
work ethic.
